We're delighted to announce a significant funding boost for the Friends of Eastwoods Park and Miners Lamp. 

Over £213,000 and £13,000 have been granted to our charity by the National Lottery Community Fund and Northern Powergrid Foundation respectively.

The funding from the National Lottery Community Fund will allow much needed refurbishment work to our building to take place. In addition to secures the future of our project with core costs such as salary for five years.

Funding from Northern Powergrid Foundation will also mean that we can install solar panels to become more energy efficient, but also support local people during power cuts.
